When you integrate Marketo with Userled, you can create personalised outbound experiences based on Marketo leads and lists.
First, we'll need to set up a new role and user in Marketo.
Log in to your Marketo instance as an admin and navigate to the "Admin" menu.
Click on "Users & Roles" and then click "New Role" under the "Roles" tab.
Type “Userled Role” for Role Name and assign “Access API group” for permissions. Click "Create".
Go back to the "Users" tab and click "Invite New User". Fill out the following fields:
Email: userled+<your company name>@userled.io
First Name: Userled
Last Name: User
Roles and Workspaces: Userled Role (created above)
Make sure to check “API Only”
Send the invitation.
Go back to the Admin menu and click on LaunchPoint from the left hand pane. Click "New Service".
Fill out the following fields:
Display Name: Userled Service
Service: Custom
Description: This service is for Userled
API Only User: userled+<your company name>@userled.io
Create the service and click "View Details". Take note of your "Client ID" and "Client Secret" - you'll need to enter these in Userled to complete the integration.
Go back to the "Admin" menu and click "Web Services". Find the Endpoint in the REST API box and take note of it - you'll need to enter this in Userled to complete the integration.
Once you've configured the above settings in Marketo, navigate back to the Userled app.
Navigate to https://app.userled.io/integrations
Click on the Marketo integration card.
Enter your Client ID, Client Secret and Endpoint URL.
Save your inputs and click “Enable” to enable to integration.
Once you've set up your Marketo integration, you can go ahead and create outbound campaigns. Marketo will appear as a source during the target selection step. You will be able to select individual leads or lists.
