This guide will walk through creating a campaign and syncing to LinkedIn Ads Campaign Manager
We target accounts and can personalise using variables or using AI
Variables (recommended)
Use Variables if you’re customising based on information that’s in your CRM or campaign source (selected in the next step).
This scales best for multiple targets and should be used for larger campaigns (limit: 500 targets)
AI
This will typically create a more personalised asset but is limited to 20 targets

This will typically be your connected CRM or a CSV import

Either import your LinkedIn Ad creative from the Userled template library (recommended). Use at least 1 LinkedIn Ad creative, although we recommend to use 2-5 for best reach and engagement.

Here you can make any edits and overrides if needed in the campaign editor. Once you’re ready to generate the assets, select ‘Publish’.
This will create all the selected assets for all the target accounts once generation is completed

We’re now ready to distribute these assets and sync them to Linkedin!
Select the ‘Distribute’ tab and select ‘Linkedin Ads’. Under the ‘campaign’ you should first select the Ad account you wish to use.

In this stage you’ll want to define the following in any order:
Select the audience refinements. Select a filter criteria that targets your ideal profile while maintaining an audience size of over 300. LinkedIn requires an audience of over 300 in order to set the campaign active.
Enter Bidding & Budget. You can manually enter amounts, but we recommend to use one of our bidding presets based on your need.
Give the Campaign a name
Set the objective. This is either ‘Brand Awareness’ or ‘Website Visit’.
Set a start date. This should be set to today’s date or a future date. If you set a date that’s in the past LinkedIn will not allow us to sync correctly.

Now we need to enter the information that accompanies the Ad creative(s). You can use variables here to further personalise the 1:1 ABM approach.

Once everything looks good and you’re ready to push from Userled into LinkedIn select the ‘Sync to LinkedIn’ button under the Campaign tab.
This will ask you to confirm everything is correct if this is your first time syncing the campaign.
You should see a syncing status followed by either a successful sync, or failed status is anything is wrong.
If successful and you wish to go live, so that these Ads will be seen by the target audience, then select the go live button in Userled or set to active in LinkedIn Campaign manager.
